UWIC RFC

Rugby at UWIC caters for the personal, social, academic and sporting development of talented rugby players. The unique diet of rugby involving a high quality cross border BUSA competition alongside the great learning experience of WRU national league rugby helps to prepare players for premier performance and beyond.

Flexibility allows for academic development to be fitted around sporting development with talented student players having the opportunity for almost full-time day time training.

UWIC rugby offers a challenging experience but one that I feel develops professional rugby players with a professional attitude and the personal responsibility to be successful. The team spirit and camaraderie within the club is better than any you will ever experience. Students attend lectures together, live together, train together and play together. Friendships made through UWIC rugby will be some of the best friends you will ever have. Premier clubs may be able to offer the financial incentives but UWIC RFC has the structure, organization, personnel and flexibility to develop quality players and quality people.
