The choice of coach seems to have already been selected by the other coaches. Their choice is of course Gareth Jenkins - but is that the choice of the WRU?

The WRU has implied, if the Western Mail is to be believed, a need to sustain continuity... they are RIGHT!

New brooms tend to sweep clean and start establishing a new order. Well in this instance it would be completely wrong and a return to the bad practice of a failed ethos and era. The "broom" that does come in shouldn't be allowed to cast aside a working order - all the deadwood should have been cut out. The chief excecutive should have carried this out already!

The WRU and the professional rugby players are part of a business and this should not be forgotten. Where a business is achieving it's goals and the Senior side is treading the path correctly - causing disruption undermines the hard work and sacrifice of others. There is no need to shed tears for ineptness, the hangers on or those who've had to be removed for economic sense. WE expect the actions of the WRU and the incoming coach to extend the capabilities of the present staff (and even the new coach's side-kick) and the professional rugby team. WE can tolerate a result but WE WILL NOT come and see rubbish nor do WE need to see the comments of the disgruntled printed in the Western Mail or anywhere else.

The WRU has got its house in order - the coach who they select will get my full support.

I MARCH FOR MY COUNTRY,
I SING WITH MY HEART,
I GIVE ALL THAT I CAN,
FROM FATHER, BROTHERS, SONS,
WE ARE ONE
