Rugby In New Zealand The New Zealand national rugby league side represents New Zealand in the sport of rugby league. They are commonly known as the Kiwis, after the native bird of that name. They are administered by the New Zealand Rugby League. The Kiwis have never won the Rugby League World Cup, although they reached the final in 1988 and 2000. They contest the Baskerville Shield against Great Britain, and play an annual ANZAC Test against Australia. |
